Tammy Lynn Pickens

Tammy Lynn Pickens passed September 16th, 2025, at 52 years old. Tammy was born September 16th, 1973, in Webb City Missouri to Ed Dotson and Brenda Brinyark Dotson. 

Tammy married her high school sweetheart Michael James Pickens and they had one son Christopher James Pickens. 

Tammy was many things a daughter, a mother, a aunt and a great friend. Her two favorite titles were Aunt Tammy and Grandma Tammy. She had a special relationship with her niece Alexis Dotson who has been her sidekick from the beginning and later grew to include her family Donavon and children Ezlyn and Eli. Tammy's biggest joys were her granddaughters Lillyanne Joyce Pickens and Chloe Jayde Pickens. From hanging out and watching movies to traveling around and watching them at their various sports and activities Tammy loved to spend time with her girls. 

Tammy is survived by her parents Ed and Brenda Dotson of Iron Station, NC. Two older brothers David (Lisa) Dotson of Franklin, NC, and Johnny (Crystal) Dotson and younger brother James Dotson all of Iron Station NC. She had 9 nieces and nephews and multiple great nieces and nephews. Son Christopher Pickens. Granddaughters Lillyanne and Chloe Pickens along with their mother Natasha Croft and 6 bonus grandkids all of East Lynne, MO. Life long "sister" and best friend Becky (Rick) Allison with bonus nephews Colby (Cassie) Randles, Reice (Ashton) Randles and Brady(Lacee) Allison. Bonus great nephews Kai Moore and Lewie Randles.

Along with many other wonderful friends and family. Her loving and kind heart is evident in all that loved her.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, September 20th, 2025 at Harrisonville Church of the Nazarene (2305 E South St, Harrisonville, Mo 64701) from 1 to 5 pm.

There is a Go Fund Me account set up to help the family with her final expenses.
