Stan Joseph Studna, 78, of Gravois Mills, Missouri, passed away on August 5, 2025, in Lee's Summit, Missouri.
Born on October 11, 1946, in Kansas City, Missouri, Stan lived a life marked by dedication, craftsmanship, and love for his family. He was the proud founder of Supreme Motors, which he started in 1972. Over the course of 52 years in the car business, he became known not only for his deep knowledge and passion for automobiles—especially classic cars—but also for his integrity and work ethic. In his earlier years, he restored classic cars and throughout his life could identify the year, make, and model of nearly any vintage car just by looking at the headlights or taillights. He was also a lifelong Chiefs fan, rarely ever missing a game, and arguably the Eagles biggest fan. Their songs were always on repeat anywhere he could play them.
Stan is survived by his loving wife, Heidi Frommer; his children, Darrell Studna, Jennie (Austin) Deters, and Adam Studna; his cherished grandsons, Rylen, Blare, and Deklan Deters, along with a fourth grandson expected later this year.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Billie Studna, and his four brothers, Mike, Bob, Alan, and Scott.
Stan will be remembered for his deep knowledge of classic cars, his passion for his work, and the love he showed to those around him. His legacy lives on through the family he loved so deeply and the many lives he touched through his life and career.
A celebration of life is planned for September 6th from 1:30 to 5pm at the Laurie Elks Lodge off O road in Laurie. More details to follow.
