Shirley Ann Park

     It’s with deep sorrow we mourn the loss of Shirley Ann Ring/Park 91 of Pleasant Hill MO, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at home Peacefully from natural causes. 

     Shirley was born on June 6, 1934 in Prescott, KS to Ira Jake Ham and Thelma Ham. She grew up attending Prescott, KS schools and working at Prescott bank with her parents. She played piano and sang Opera for 13 years. She was in rodeos riding horses in 4-H club and helped on the Family Cattle Ranch.

      In 1953, she married Frank Ring Jr and moved to KC MO area where she continued in the banking industry. 

There she had four children, Timothy P. Ring(Margaret) Kennewick,WA, Vicki A. Ring, Pleasant Hill, MO. Mark W. Ring, and Paul D. Ring, Pleasant Hill, MO. 

In 1976 she married Charlie Park, Holden, MO. She worked at Holden Seed Company until 1989 and then opened Shirley’s Restaurant, Holden, MO until 1992.

 Then she worked as a baker at Hyvee in Lee’s Summit, MO until 2006. Then moved to Pleasant Hill, MO. and she was a seamstress until 2024.

 Survivors include: Grandkids-10, Great Grandkids-17, 2 Step Great Grandkids, Great Great Grandkids-4, Larry W. Ham (Nephew) Ft. Scott, KS, and Rick Ring (Nephew) Holden, MO. 

Shirley enjoyed being at home sewing, reading, baking, watching football and basketball. 

Preceded in Death: Ira Jake Ham(Father), Thelma Ham (Mother), Ira Jake Jr. (Brother), Albert W. Ham (Brother), Mark W. Ring (Son), Zachary Ring (Grandson), Linda A. Ham (Niece), Randy C. Ring(Nephew), Frank Ring Jr and Charlie Park.
