Paul Edgar Statham

Paul is survived by his wife of 37 years, Renie, and his daughters: Paula DeSantis (and her spouse Vick and their children Cody and Caden) and Rhonda Statham and her son Tanner. Paul is also survived by his sister Kathy Hempfling of Independence, MO and his brother Fred Statham of Buckner, MO. Paul is preceded in death by his brothers Malcolm and Ronnie, and his father and mother, Charles and Roberta.

Paul proudly served in the U.S. Army, earning a Marksmanship medal and an honorable discharge after two years of service. Paul spent the better part of 45 years perfecting the craft of old school auto body work. He was known to be able to fix or do anything with his hands, and he loved to go hunting with his dog Cody, and to watch car races on Saturday mornings.

Paul was a loving husband and father, and a friend to many. Known for his great sense of humor and his handsome blue eyes, he often went out of his way to help others. He loved life and he will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, August 27th at Noon in Shelter #3 at the Harrisonville City Park (706 Ash St). Shelter #3 is located just Northeast of the Harrisonville Aquatic Center.
