Celebration of Life For

     Maria Elaine More (Hunter) of Harrisonville, MO born January 13 1973 daughter of Delbert Dean Hunter and Kathy Pierce. Maria passed away peacefully at home with all her dogs around her on June 23 2024, at the age of 51 (aka 24).

     Maria graduated high school at Lees Summit and has spent her adult life being a great mother and entrepreneur. She helped run a real estate business, roofing business, and other small fun ventures. She spent the last 8 years as a Labrador breeder and trainer raising great puppies with champion bloodlines for great homes. Maria married Robert Gregory Frank June 12, 1994 at Loose Park in Kansas City MO. To this union were born Robert Tyler Frank, Daniel Joseph Frank, and Katie Marie Frank. She was also stepmother to Tyler Mackenzie More. Maria attended Abundant Life of Lee’s Summit and was saved by Jesus Christ on November 27 1992. She homeschooled her children giving them many opportunities and really fun field trips. Maria enjoyed to fish, swim and loved the beach. She worked harder than any man and strived for excellence in everything she did. About 12 years ago she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and after several procedures the cancer was removed. A few years later her cancer metastasized into her liver, and she chose to pursue holistic and naturopathic healing and remedies. We believe this is what has given us all these years with her. Through her strength, stubbornness, and unwavering faith; she fought. What a great testament to the strength GOD has given her. She will be missed by many, but we know her body is now whole with the LORD, O’ what joy we can have for her. Maria’s legacy will be cherished by all who’ve had the pleasure to know her, and her strength will continue to inspire generations to come. Maria is preceded in death by her father Dean, and her Nanu and Nana. She is survived by her sister Tracee Hunter, and her children Nichole Utt and her 5 children, Sara Robertson and her 2 children, Brittanee Marshall, and Ryan Marshall. Maria is also survived by her children Tyler Frank, Daniel Frank, Katie Frank, Tyler More (stepson), and grandchildren Hunter Ray Hubbard and Henry Charles Nelson.
