Lonnie William Harper, 79, of Kansas City Missouri Passed Away on Thursday September 8th, 2022. Lonnie was born in Wewoka, OK and spent his youth in Bloomington Texas.

He served in the United States Air Force as a Medic from 1964-1968 and left as Sargent. Lonnie, also known as "The Best Upside Down Guitar Picker," is Survived by His Wife Carol S. Harper, Daughters Heather M. and Alison K. Harper, Sons Andrew D. Harper, and Bryan Montford. Three grandchildren Noah, Abigail, and Violet as well as his little Brother John Ray Harper.

Lonnie was preceded in death by his Mother Hattie Mae Keys Harper, Father John (Grady) Willam Harper, Brother Jesse Lawrence Harper, Sisters Wilma Marie Morlan, Leora (Peggy) Mae Powell, and two infant sisters.

Lonnie was a one of a kind human. He first played music by ear at age 3 playing "Amazing Grace" on the piano. He lived a full life and loved everything inspiring many along the way.

His graveside service will be held at: New Hope Cemetery (Liberty, Missouri) on his 80th Birthday, September 12th, 2022 at 3pm.
