John Peterson

John Peterson, age 47, passed away on November 10, 2025. 

John was born in Kansas City, MO to Kenneth Peterson and Elizabeth Scott John was engaged to Avery Mock.

He was preceded in death by Kenneth Peterson (Father) and Michael Dorn (brother)

A celebration of life will be held

John was a friend to everyone. It was always said he never met a stranger. If you met John you probably became one of his best friends. He had an aurora about him that just drew everyone to him. Sometimes this led John down the path with the wrong people in life. John struggled with addiction and spent numerous years in and out of prison. This last go around the Lord saved John. John ended up getting his Associates degree and learning to weld. Once John was out he was thankful to God for a new beginning. God placed Avery Mock and her two children Noah and Nova in John's life. He spent the last seven months of his life surrounded by the love from these three people that completed him. John was a mamas boy and a pain in the butt. He was our pain in the butt. He will be truly missed.
