Janie Melissa Blood, 60, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away peacefully at her home on February 4, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. 

Born in Independence, Missouri, on September 22, 1963. Janie was known for her vibrant personality and unwavering faith and kindness. She touched the lives of all who knew her with her infectious laughter and generous spirit. 

Janie is survived by her cherished children Joshua Blood and Jennifer Grondahl  (Blood) and her adoring grandchildren Brian Blood, Bronx Blood, Kurt Jones, Caelyn Grondahl, and Colton Grondahl. She is also survived by her brother Bill Crowl, all who will deeply miss her presence. 

Janie was preceded in death by her Parents Bill and Gaye Crowl and older sister, Diane Keefer. 

A dedicated team lead, Janie's passion for client services was evident to all who worked alongside her. Her commitment to excellence and compassionate nature made her a respected colleague and friend. 

In her leisure time, Janie enjoyed crafting, upcycling furniture, being outdoors, and spending time with those she cherished. She will be remembered for her firm and unshakeable faith in the Lord, which brought light into the lives of those around her. 

The family will hold a celebration of Janie's life on Saturday February 24 at 2:00pm at the Creekmoor Golf Clubhouse located in Raymore, MO. 

Janie Melissa Blood will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace, her memory forever cherished in our hearts.
