Gregory Scott Clemons

Gregory Scott Clemons passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 11, 2024 in his mother's family home located in Belton MO at the age of 67 years old.

Gregory was born on January 15th, 1957, in Boonville, MO, and spent his final days in Belton, MO. He graduated from Center Sr High School in Kansas City, MO, in 1975. He was the beloved son of the late Reverend Earl Clemons and Wilma Jean Clemons. He is survived by his younger brother, Brent Clemons, and his only son, Tristan Clemons. He was preceded in death by his brother, Barry Clemons in 2011.

A man of many passions and talents, Gregory found immense joy in dirt track racing. His enthusiasm for the sport was matched only by his remarkable skill as a letter painter, a craft in which he excelled and took great pride. Gregory also honored the family tradition of ministry, being ordained and joyfully marrying countless couples over the years.

Known for his warm heart and genuine care for others, Gregory touched the lives of many. His love for people was evident in every interaction, and he will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
