Gerald Lynn Jones

Gerald Lynn “Sylvy” Jones, born Dec. 26, 1955, to Leland and Amy Jones, passed away Dec. 17, 2020, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, Mo. He was 64 years old. He joins his parents, a brother, two sisters, a son, and a wife, all who preceded him in death. He is survived by his sons, Justyn Gillen and Gerald “Bear Boy” Jones, seven siblings, numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. He leaves behind a wealth of his musical talent and spirit for our family’s generations to come. We believe Gerry Sylvy is singing his songs to “Colour Me Gone,” for his “Angel of Mercy” has taken him somewhere better, to his own “Backyard.”
