Ellen L Essman, age 97, passed away peacefully in Oak Grove, MO on December 5, 2022. She was born December 29, 1924, in Leeds, Iowa. She was married to Lodelle T Essman, who preceded her in death in 2001. She had 7 children, 3 of which preceded her in death: Jimmy Allen, Victor Allen and Nancy Littlefield, and 4 of which survive: Tommy Essman of Scranton KS, Mark Essman of Topeka, KS, Rickey Essman of Oak Grove, MO and Kevin Essman of Berryton, KS. Ellen had many grand, great grand and great great grandchildren. Ellen's wishes were to be cremated and will be placed at Mount Hope Cemetery in Topeka, KS. Her wishes were to have a private placing.
