Edward Roy Cunningham

Ed was born June 23, 1928 in Tennessee to Luke Cunningham and Georgia Hollis. He met Lula Watts in a strawberry patch and would be married for 71 years. Eventually moving to Kansas City, MO, Ed worked at Butternut Bread Bakery until retiring. He was never one to sit still and continued to work, even in retirement. He will be sorely missed and survived by his children: Anita, Billy, Edward, and all of his countless grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his eldest daughter Glenda.

Due to COVID restrictions, the funeral has a limit of attendees and a family gathering will be held afterwards at great-granddaughter Tiffanie’s house in Martin City.

Flowers can be sent to Stonegate Crematorium in Harrisonville.
