Dr. Vada Louise Arrowood

Vada Louise Arrowood, 87, of Centerview, MO, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 23, 2021. She was born on November 23, 1933, in French Camp, California, the daughter of the late James and Maletha (Clark) Ellis. She was preceded in death by two brothers Bill Clark and Gerald Ellis and one sister Norma Jean Schieve.

On November 12, 1963, in Kansas City, MO, she was united in marriage to Edgar Arrowood who preceded her in death in 2013. She is survived by their 4 children, Kathy Bukowsky of Sebring, OH, Linda and Kevin Pardo of Kansas City, MO, Beth Smith of Centerview, MO and Eddie Paul and Marcy Arrowood, of St. Louis, MO; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Vada received a Doctorate of Nursing Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She dedicated her life to higher education and the advancement of future nurses. Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
