Donna Marie Addleman May 31, 1941- January 25, 2024

Donna Marie Addleman, 82, of Independence, MO, passed away on January 25th, 2024. Donna was born in Livingston County, MO in 1941 to Ralph Rollo and Martha Ellen (Fitzpatrick) Figg of Hale, Missouri.

Donna spent most of her career working in the medical field as an office manager. Donna reconnected with the love of her life in the early nineties, Mr. Charles Addleman. She and Chuck enjoyed traveling and together going to casinos and enjoying meals at nice restaurants. Donna had many loves in her life. She enjoyed playing music on the piano, learning songs from memory. Donna had a knack for puzzles and spending quality time with her grandson and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed going to dinner and the movies with her grandson, Paul Lombardo. This was a weekly tradition before she moved to Arizona to be with Chuck, whom she married in 1994. She enjoyed shopping and going to lunch with her daughters, she enjoyed cooking them meals for the holidays. She also enjoyed their weekend getaways at Tan-Tar-A. 

Donna is survived by her children, Kim Lindsay, Independence, MO; Sheri Avery, Independence, Missouri; Leanna Skully, Blue Springs, MO; grandson Paul (Jennifer) Lombardo; great-grandchildren Kaylee and Kolton Lombardo, Grain Valley, MO; and granddaughter Jennifer Weddle of Colorado. 

Preceding her in death was her husband, Charles Addleman; her parents in 1990 and 2005, respectively; brother, Rollo Eugene Figg; sister, Dorothy Ellen Westbrook; sister, Sylvia Belle Singleton; and two infant brothers, Daniel Ralph Figg and Terry Gale Figg. She also leaves behind two sisters and one brother—Martha Hellen Carroll, Independence, Missouri; Mildred Louise Pahmeyer, Oak Grove, Missouri; and Jerry Dale (Marilyn) Figg, Wheeling, Missouri; sister-in-law Ruby Figg, Canandaigua, New York.

A celebration of life will be held at the Woodmoor Clubhouse in Independence, MO on Sunday, February 18, 2024 from 2-4.
