Dennise Sue Weichert

Dennise was born on November 16th, 1952, to Hubert and Gladys Walstrom, in Topeka, KS. After graduating from Topeka West High School in 1970, she worked for Wallace Cleaners in North Topeka for many years, then for Highland Mill Shop as a bookkeeper, and finally retiring from the State of Kansas.

Dennise was passionate about spending time with her grandchildren and loved scrapbooking in her spare time.

Dennise was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert & Gladys, and her sister, Patricia Haas. She is survived by her three children: Lisa Fahnholz (Mike Chick), David Weichert, and Bryan Weichert (Jami); six grandchildren: Haley, Dylan, Cadence, Sylas, Tobias and Josiah; several nieces and nephews; and many extended family members.

An informal Celebration of Life will be held at the Big Gage Shelter House in Topeka on February 19th from 2-5pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Kansas City Hospice in her name.
