Born on May 12, 1943, Delores embraced life with a heart full of compassion and a spirit resolutely centered in her faith. She was saved in Christ at an early age, a pivotal moment that would guide her through the many facets of her life.
A devoted Inventory Analyst for Hallmark Greeting Cards, Delores took great pride in her work, contributing not just to her profession but also to the joy of so many who received cards imbued with heartfelt sentiments. Her dedication was as profound as the love she held for her family and friends.
Delores was particularly known for her affection for cats, a quirk that endeared her to many. It is in these tender loves that she found solace and companionship, and her fondness for her feline friends illustrated the nurturing spirit she carried within her. Those who entered her home were often greeted by a warm smile and the gentle purring of her beloved cats, a testament to her undeniable tenderness and ability to connect deeply with those around her.
She leaves behind a loving family who will forever treasure her memory: her devoted husband, Don Frieze; her supportive brother, Jerold Crowder; her caring sister, Sue Purdue; and her adoring nephew, Bradley Craig Hatfield. Each of them carries a piece of Delores’ vibrant spirit within their hearts.
Delores was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Roberta Hatfield, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. Though they are separated by death, their love remains eternal, a connection that transcends time and space.
A Celebration of Life honoring Delores will take place at the Harrisonville Methodist Church, located at 2600 E. Mechanic St., Harrisonville, Missouri, 64701, on November 14, 2025. Friends and family are invited to gather from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM to share in the joy of Delores’ remarkable life and the indelible impact she made on all those fortunate enough to know her.
