Corey McCormick

Corey McCormick, age 34, son of the late Kimberly Anne Davis and Myron Troy McCormick, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024.  Corey was born on August 31, 1989 in Kansas City, Missouri. Corey was preceded in death by his mother, Kimberly and his father, Myron Troy.  

Corey is survived by his daughter, Madalyn McCormick of Independence, his fiancé, Monica Whistler, of Pleasant Hill, brothers, Matthew McCormick and wife Brittney, of Belton, and Joseph McCormick and wife Michelle, of Belton, grandparents, Rita and Tom Rayburn, of Peculiar, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.  

Corey was know as a hard worker and was always up for learning new things.  Corey was a jokester and enjoyed life to the fullest.  Corey did not know a stranger and was always willing and ready to lend a hand.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.  

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
