Charles “Charlie” William Addleman, 85, of Harrisonville, Missouri, died peacefully Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at the Golden Years Center in Harrisonville, Missouri.
Charlie was born October 24, 1935 in Archie, Missouri to J.B. and Jessie Belle (Oyler) Addleman.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: James Harvey and Duane Addleman; two sisters: Hilda Griffith and Leila Rogers; and five nephews: Ed Griffith, J. Richard Griffith, Fred Griffith, Mike Addleman and Jay Darrel Addleman.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Sharon Pritchett; two stepsons: David and Rex Pritchett; one stepdaughter Kathy Scott (Bob); one brother Henry Addleman (Shirley); one grandson Eric Dewolf; one granddaughter Jennifer Dewolf Hussaini; seven great grandchildren: Leila, Evie, Nina, Ary, A.J., and Nori Hussaini and Quintin Dewolf; four nieces: Delores Ann Shannon (Denny), Katie (Brandon) Thieman, Sheryl, and LeeAnn Addleman; six nephews: Tom, Steve (Robin), and Jerry (April) Addleman, Harvey (Rita) Griffith, John (Rosie) and Gary Rogers; and many great nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Charlie received his bachelor’s degree in education, and he was a schoolteacher for 25 years. Charlie was a good Christian man who loved his family. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and in his early years he enjoyed living on the farm.
