Bryan Lee Turpin

Bryan unexpectedly passed away at his home on August 21st, 2021 at the age of 41. Bryan was born on May 9th, 1980 to James Turpin and Sara Rumford Gardner. Bryan graduated from Emporia High. Shortly after high school, he went to work for Wrights Tree Service, where he found his passion for and knowledge of trees. Bryan married Crystal Ann Marin and together they share 4 children: Alexis, Hunter, Rose, and Wyatt. Bryan later divorced. Bryan is survived by his children: Alexis Anne, Hunter Lee, Rose Marie, and Wyatt Alden, all of Emporia, KS, as well as an unborn child; his mother Sara (Jerry) Gardner of Emporia, KS and his siblings: Alicia Mills, Karrie Siebert, Nicole Wilson, Cylinda Turpin, Kimberly Turpin, Wayne Gardner, Adam Gardner, and Luke Gardner, as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Bryan is preceded in death by his father James Turpin of Ponca City, OK; his grandparents: Albert and Harriet Rumford, Gerald and Bonnie Gardner, James (Shorty) and Janice Turpin, Frank and Freda (Metcalfe) Bacon, and his great grandparents, Leo and Grace Hull and Lewis and Lucille (Anderson) Gardner, John and Lottie Metcalfe, and Walter Turpin and Fern Clark. A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for Saturday, October 16th, 2021 at 1:30 PM.
