Bryan LaVerne Capps 67, of Spring Hill, KS went to be with the Lord at his home on Friday November 17th, 2023.

Funeral service 10:00am, Friday December 1st, 2023 at Hillsdale Presbyterian Church, 22875 W. 255th St. Hillsdale, KS 66036. Burial 1pm Saturday, December 2nd, 2023 at Hilltop Cemetery in Raymond, Kansas 1708 4th Rd, Raymond, KS 67573.

Bryan was born on May 21st, 1956 in Sterling, KS to Robert Capps and Dixie Ludwick. He was raised in Alden, KS by his grandparents Frank and Gladys Ludwick. He married Pamela Sue Casey, the love of his life, on October 28th, 1976. They lived outside of Great Bend, KS where they raised their two children, Justin and Patricia.

They were members of The Free Will Baptist Church of Great Bend, KS. He worked in the oil field and enjoyed hunting with his son and fishing with his family. In 1999 they moved to Spring Hill, KS where he worked for a rock quarry just outside of Olathe, KS operating a very large loader for about 15yrs. The last 10yrs he worked for and operated a large loader for Midstates Materials in Edgerton, KS.

He spent his time loving God, his family, and anything outdoors. His passion was guns, reloading, fishing, and more guns. Duck hunting and fishing with his grandson was at the top of that list, along with attending any sport activites of his grandchildren, teaching them how to drive, playing with his first great grandson, and talking on the phone with his granddaughter for hours.

He was preceded in death by his wife Pamela Sue (Casey) Capps, Parents: father, Robert Capps, Mother, Dixie Lee (Ludwick) Goodwin, Grandparents, Frank and Gladys Ludwick.

He is survived by his children, Son, Justin Capps (Jessica) of Hutchinson, KS, along with their children, Katie (Kyle) of San Antonio TX, Evan (Destiny) of Hutchinson KS, Brooklynn, Noah and Tyler (Amanda) Capps of Eudora, KS; Daughter, Patricia (Ryan) Reeves of Spring Hill, KS. and their son Austin (Darby) Reeves and first great grandson Wren of Spring Hill, KS. Half Sister, Shirley Hoffman of Lyons, KS, Sister-in-law, Carolyn Casey Of Hartford,KS, Sister-in-Law, Lana Casey of Springfield, MO, and many nieces and nephews.
