Obituary For Beverly Ann Richardson

Beverly “Bev” Ann Richardson was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to Erma J. and Willie B. Richardson. She moved to Kansas City with her family after her dad passed away. She was not only the oldest of seven children, but she also stepped up to help her mother raise her siblings. Beverly had four children of her own, all of whom she loved with all her heart: Arnithra, Chris, Antonio, and Derry.

Beverly was extremely loving and accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She always professed her love for Jesus. She liked to tell jokes and make people laugh. She transitioned to her new life on March 16, 2022, at the age of 64.

Beverly is survived by her companion Grover Humphries; daughter Arnithra Richardson; two sons: Chris Richardson (Della) and Derry Richardson (Telley); one sister: Linda Richardson (Tyrone); two brothers: Mark Richardson and Richard Richardson; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother Erma Richardson, her father Willie Richardson, her son Antonio Richardson, her brothers Willie Richardson and Stanley Richardson, and her sister Wanda Richardson.

A visitation directly followed by a formal funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 pm on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Elmwood Armour Memorial Chapel at 4900 E. Truman Rd, Kansas City, MO 64127. Pastor Edward Taylor will officiate the ceremony.
