In Loving Memory of Teresa Lynn Jordan

1972–2026

Teresa Lynn Jordan, 54, of Lynn Valley, Kansas, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 18, 2026, in the comfort of her home.

Teresa shared 25 wonderful years with her loving significant other, Travis Rice. Throughout their years together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, family, and countless cherished memories. Teresa treasured every moment she spent with Travis, and their love was an important part of her life.

Above all else, Teresa was a devoted mother and grandmother whose greatest joy came from her family. She was a loving mother to her children, Jenna White (35), Rena Riordan (33), and her beloved son, Joey Jordan, who preceded her in death. She was also a loving stepmother to Kira Fisher (45), Alex Rice (33), Kimberly Rice (32), Zachary Burgess (28), and Damon Rice (27).

Teresa was also a proud and loving grandmother to her many grandchildren, who held a very special place in her heart. She cherished watching them grow, making memories with them, and being part of their lives.

Teresa had a special love for all things unicorns, a passion that brought her happiness and reflected her unique personality.

During the later years of her life, Teresa fought a long and difficult battle with COPD. Despite the challenges she faced, she showed incredible strength and determination. She fought every day to spend as much time as possible with the people she loved, especially her grandchildren, wanting nothing more than to be there to watch them grow up.

Teresa was preceded in death by her beloved son, Joey Jordan. While her passing leaves an emptiness in the hearts of those she leaves behind, her family finds comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with Joey in heaven, where they can embrace once again and never have to say goodbye.

Teresa will be remembered for the love she gave, the strength she showed, and the memories she created with those closest to her. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the love she shared with her family will live on in their hearts forever.

Celebration of Life

A service to honor and celebrate Teresa’s life will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at 2:00 PM.

Family and friends are invited to gather together to remember Teresa, share cherished memories, and celebrate the love and joy she brought into their lives.
